Masamune is one of the characters in the game Phantom of the Kill.

Description[edit | edit source]

Equally strict to herself and others, she despises all injustice. Her Killium comes from the mystical sword Masamune known to exist in a legendary island nation. Given the nature that the blade Masamune was created from multiple blades, the Killer Princess has trouble with the Culling order of eliminating her clones. "Why can two of the same kind not exist at the same time?" She continues her journey with her commander to find an answer to her question.

Myrmidon: "She lives by an honorable and devout samurai code. Strict both with herself and with others, she despises all injustice. The source of her Killium is Masamune, the fabled blade of a legendary island nation. Her favorite words are "simplicity and fortitude." She likes things and people that fit these words, and hopes to also become befitting of them herself. She is thus completely unconcerned with fashion or other luxuries--in fact, she can't understand why anyone is interested in such things in the first place."
Swordmaster: "She lives by an honorable and devout samurai code. Strict both with herself and with others, she despises all injustice. The source of her Killium is Masamune, the fabled blade of a legendary island nation. Her hobby is sword practice. In fact, it's not really what you'd call a hobby -- she spends every spare moment practicing and training to grow stronger. She doesn't have anything that you would call a hobby, but recently she's been taken an interest in cookery, as it involves blades. She has no interest in anything apart from chopping up ingredients, though."
True Blade: "She lives by an honorable and devout samurai code. Strict both with herself and with others, she despises all injustice. The source of the Killium is Masamune, the fabled blade of a legendary island nation. Recently she has taken a full-blown interest in cookery, seeing it as part of her training. As well as honing her skills with kitchen knives, she's also working hard to learn about flavoring and presentation. She's convinced that her food isn't yet at a level where it's ready to be given to others, but she's actually come a very long way."

Masamune (Myrmidon 3★)[edit | edit source]

Masamune (Myrmidon 3★) Thumb.png

Myrmidon: "She lives by an honorable and devout samurai code. Strict both with herself and with others, she despises all injustice. The source of the Killium is Masamune, the fabled blade of a legendary island nation. Rather than one single blade, it came from the combined form of multiple Masamunes, and this fact has made her dissatisfied with the Culling code implanted in the Killer Princes and Princesses. Why may the same being not exist more than once? She searches for the answer to this question as she travels the land with her commander."
Swordmaster: "She lives by an honorable and devout samurai code. Strict both with herself and with others, she despises all injustice. The source of the Killium is Masamune, the fabled blade of a legendary island nation. Masamune continues to abide by the samurai code she has chosen to follow. She trusts in her own sense of justice, and pays no heed to the opinions of others. As members of the church, Killer Princes and Princesses usually refrain from voicing their qualms about the church's code, but Masamune is undeterred by this, and follows her own sense of justice to the last."
True Blade: "She lives by an honorable and devout samurai code. Strict both with herself and with others, she despises all injustice. The source of the Killium is Masamune, the fabled blade of a legendary island nation. She constantly wonders where the way of the samurai will lead her once she has defeated all the other Masamunes, whose powers linger inside her. She believes that if she continues traveling with her commander and searching for a way for her and the other Masamunes to coexist, once her journey reaches its end, the answer to her questions will surely become clear."

Masamune (Winged Knight 3★)[edit | edit source]

Masamune (Winged Knight 3★) Thumb.png

Winged Knight: "She lives by an honorable and devout samurai code. Strict both with herself and with others, she despises all injustice. The source of her Killium is Masamune, the fabled blade of a legendary island nation. Because of her honorable character, she greatly respects Killer Princes and Princesses whose Killium comes from sacred weapons, or ones wielded by gods. In particular, she spends a lot of time together with Kusanagi and Yoichi. She's inherently bad at relating to people, and has a habit of acting like a servant even to her friends."
Phoenix Knight: "She lives by an honorable and devout samurai code. Strict both with herself and with others, she despises all injustice. The source of her Killium is Masamune, the fabled blade of a legendary island nation. Masamune does not particularly dislikes anyone--on the contrary, most people avoid her because of her stiff and formal manner. She views Green Dragon and Sky Piercer, both once weapons used by legendary warlords, as her rivals. Simply hearing the word "Warlord" seems to instill a feeling of rivalry in her."
